Interesting idea by CompuLab

CompuLab is first company which will use a Nvidia Tegra 2 as a base to create a personal computer. I think it's very clever idea :D

Here are some specification:
  • układ SoC NVIDIA Tegra 2 with two cores Cortex-A9 (ARM, 1 GHz)
  • 1 GB RAM DDR2
  • 2.5" SSD 64 GB
  • Wireless connection controler 802.11b/g/n
  • Ethernet 1 Gb/s
  • Bluetooth
  • SD/micro SD Card Reader
  • 4x USB 2.0
  • 2x HDMI 1.3
Producer said, that computer will able to play a movies in 1080p, but we don't know which OS it will able to run. CompuLab said we will have some option to choose, which OS we'd like to install, probably there will be Google Android.

I'm waiting for this. It's a great hardware to connect to TV or use as HTPC.

What do you think about that stuff ? Do you like it ? Feel free to comment :D

  6. what exactly is the point of this though? I don't see how people with a computer would opt to buy this over a desktop. I guess size would be a selling point but the fact that it is too small would kill it IMO
